Polyester Pleated Cartridges

Hydro Guard™ PF Series Polyester Pleated Cartridges are manufactured from durable polyester to provide a superior pleated cartridge that is both washable and reusable. The polyester media is pleated around a polypropylene core for added strength, and the ends are immersed in a thermosetting vinyl plastisol, fusing the three components together to form a unified end cap and gasket. These cartridges are resistant to both bacteria and chemicals, offering excellent dirt-holding capacity to extend the time between cartridge changeouts.

Made with 100% pure polypropylene and FDA CFR 21–approved materials, Hydro Guard™ PF Series Polyester Pleated Cartridges meet NSF Standards 42, 61, and 372. They do not impart any substances into water that are known to or can cause adverse health effects to humans, ensuring safe and reliable filtration.

Hydro Guard™ PF Series Polyester Pleated Cartridges are highly effective for removing dirt, sand, silt, and sediment, making them ideal as pre-filters in larger systems. Their increased surface area offers a significant advantage over other depth-type sediment filters, delivering a longer lifespan, lower pressure drop, and enhanced flow rates. This efficiency enables the use of smaller filter housings, reducing equipment expenses. Additional cost savings come from their durable, fully synthetic filter media, which can be cleaned (for filters with five microns and larger) to minimize the need for frequent cartridge replacements.

The cartridges are bacteria and chemical resistant and provide great dirt holding capacity to extend the time between cartridge change outs.

Hydro Guard™ PF Series Polyester Pleated Cartridges are made with 100% pure polypropylene and are free of surfactants, detergents and anti-static agents. PF series filter cartridges do not impart any substances into water which are known to or can cause adverse health effects to humans.
