Thank you for choosing Hydro Guard™. Your Hydro Guard™ water filtration system has been engineered to deliver dependable performance and premium water quality for drinking, cooking, and beverage applications. We stand behind the quality of our products and warrant them to be free from defects in materials and workmanship when installed and operated in accordance with Hydro Guard™ specifications and instructions. The warranty period begins on the original date of purchase and is administered as follows:
Warranty Period Coverage
One (1) Year Replaceable components, including filter heads and water treatment cartridges*
Five (5) Years The complete filtration system (excluding replaceable elements)
* Coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship only and does not include normal filter cartridge depletion or expected service life.
Proof of original purchase is required for all warranty claims.
The system must be installed, operated, and maintained according to Hydro Guard™ recommended guidelines. This warranty does not apply to products that have been modified, altered, improperly installed, misused, or repaired by unauthorized persons.
If a covered defect is discovered during the applicable warranty period, notify Hydro Guard™ Technical Support or your authorized Hydro Guard™ distributor. At our discretion, defective components will be repaired or replaced. Labor charges associated with removal, installation, or service are not included under this warranty. Any repaired or replacement product will remain subject to the terms of the original warranty period.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, freezing, fire, flood, Acts of God, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or operation outside
recommended specifications. Damage caused by incompatible accessories, improper plumbing practices, or exposure to chemicals such as chlorine, chloramines, ozone, or other oxidizing agents beyond recommended levels is also excluded. Refer to the Installation and Operation Guide for approved operating conditions and application parameters.
Hydro Guard™ provides product performance specifications and operating recommendations with every water treatment system. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HYDRO GUARD™ DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Where such warranties cannot be excluded by law, they are limited in duration to the applicable warranty period stated above.
Because incoming water quality, operating conditions, and application requirements vary by location and over time, Hydro Guard™ cannot guarantee that any particular product is suitable for every installation. It is the responsibility of the purchaser or installer to determine that the selected system meets the intended application requirements. Hydro Guard™ assumes no responsibility for system performance when used with non-potable water supplies or water conditions outside the product’s published operating limits.
HYDRO GUARD™’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED SOLELY TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR COMPONENT, AT HYDRO GUARD™’S OPTION. HYDRO GUARD™ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
