Hydro Guard™ – SB Series
Sediment Bonded Depth Cartridges
Hydro Guard™ SB Series Sediment Bonded Depth Cartridges are specially designed, thermally bonded polypropylene filters engineered to deliver superior filtration performance. Each cartridge utilizes a durable polypropylene center core for enhanced strength and structural integrity. Fine grooves on the outer surface increase filtration surface area, while the construction ensures that no color, taste, or odor is imparted to the liquid being filtered. These cartridges produce consistent flow rates, have no fiber release, and are ideal for use in food and beverage applications where purity and reliability are paramount.
Made from 100% pure polypropylene, Hydro Guard™ SB Series Sediment Bonded Depth Cartridges are free from surfactants, detergents, and anti-static agents. They do not impart any substances into water that are known to—or can potentially—cause adverse health effects. Built to meet the highest safety and quality standards, these cartridges comply with FDA CFR 21 regulations for use in food and beverage applications, and they are NSF Standard 42, 61, and 372 certified.
The thermally bonded polypropylene microfiber construction provides exceptional filtration efficiency, while the robust material resists bacterial attack and offers superior chemical resistance. The SB Series ensures no fiber release, maintains consistent flow rates, and delivers reliable performance throughout its lifespan, making it a trusted solution across diverse industries.
Hydro Guard™ SB Series Sediment Bonded Depth Cartridges are widely used in electric components manufacturing, plating, parts washing, pulp and paper processing, ink production, bottled water and soft drink bottling, juice processing, oil and gas operations, pre-reverse osmosis filtration, and rinse water treatment. Their dependable design and high-performance characteristics make them suitable for both industrial and commercial filtration needs.
