Hydro Guard™ QL2 Single Filter Head is engineered to provide dependable performance in demanding commercial water filtration applications. Designed for compatibility with Everpure filter cartridges, the QL2 gives foodservice operators, vending applications, and office coffee service providers a durable and versatile platform for building a reliable water filtration system.
Hydro Guard™ QL2 Single Filter Head incorporates a built-in water shut-off valve that simplifies routine cartridge replacement by automatically controlling water flow when the cartridge is removed. Its sanitary quick-change design allows cartridges to be replaced quickly and without the need for special tools, helping make routine filter maintenance easier and more efficient.
Hydro Guard™ QL2 Single Filter Head is available with multiple connection options to accommodate different installation requirements. Choose the HDG-QL2-14Q for a 1/4″ Quick Connect connection, the HDG-QL2-38Q for a 3/8″ Quick Connect connection, or the HDG-QL2-38 for a 3/8″ FNPT connection. This range of configurations allows installers to select the connection best suited for the application while maintaining the same dependable QL2 platform.

Description
The Hydro Guard™ QL2 Single Filter Head is a commercial-quality single stage filter head designed for dependable performance in foodservice, vending, and office coffee service applications. Compatible with Everpure filter cartridges, the QL2 provides a durable and convenient foundation for commercial water filtration systems.
Available configurations include the HDG-QL2-14Q with a 1/4″ Quick Connect, HDG-QL2-38Q with a 3/8″ Quick Connect, and HDG-QL2-38 with a 3/8″ FNPT connection. Each model features a built-in water shut-off valve for easier cartridge replacement and includes a mounting bracket and screws for convenient installation.
Installation Instructions
• Install the filter head in a vertical position and allow a minimum of 2½” (6.35 cm) of clearance below the cartridge for easy replacement.
• Flush the system by running water through the filter for five (5) minutes before use.
• Replace the filter cartridge annually, when the rated capacity is reached, or whenever a noticeable reduction in water flow occurs
Operation Instructions
• Change cartridges when capacity is reached or when pressure falls below 10 psi (0.7 bar).
• Always flush the filter cartridge at time of installation and cartridge change.
