Hydro Guard™ HDG-QL1 Single Filter Head is engineered for dependable performance in demanding commercial water filtration applications and is compatible with Everpure filter cartridges. Its compact, low-profile design is ideal for foodservice, vending, office coffee service (OCS), and other commercial installations where mounting space is limited.
Hydro Guard™ HDG-QL1 Single Filter Head is available with 1/4″ Quick Connect, 3/8″ Quick Connect, or 3/8″ FNPT connections, providing installation flexibility for a variety of commercial water filtration systems. Each configuration includes a mounting bracket and features solid commercial-grade construction for the durability, strength, and long service life professionals expect.
Hydro Guard™ HDG-QL1 Single Filter Head is engineered for reliable operation and features corrosion-resistant hardware for long-lasting performance in demanding commercial environments. Although it does not include a built-in water shut-off valve, all wetted parts are manufactured to NSF® standards, providing added confidence in water quality and overall system reliability.

Description
Hydro Guard™ HDG-QL1 Single Filter Head provides a compact, dependable solution for commercial water filtration applications and is compatible with Everpure filter cartridges. Its durable, low-profile design makes it ideal for foodservice, vending, office coffee service (OCS), and other commercial installations.
Hydro Guard™ HDG-QL1 Single Filter Head is available with 1/4″ Quick Connect, 3/8″ Quick Connect, or 3/8″ FNPT connections to accommodate a variety of installation requirements. A mounting bracket and corrosion-resistant hardware provide secure installation and dependable long-term performance.
Installation Instructions
• Install the filter head in a vertical position and allow a minimum of 2½” (6.35 cm) of clearance below the cartridge for easy replacement.
• Flush the system by running water through the filter for five (5) minutes before use.
• Replace the filter cartridge annually, when the rated capacity is reached, or whenever a noticeable reduction in water flow occurs.
Operation Instructions
• Change cartridges when capacity is reached or when pressure falls below 10 psi (0.7 bar).
• Always flush the filter cartridge at time of installation and cartridge change.
