Hydro Guard™ Total Care Water Systems are high performance water filtration systems designed to substantially improve the quality of your drinking water. Hydro Guard effectively transforms your water from questionable to premiere quality in a matter of seconds!

Hydro Guard™ Total Care Water Filtration Systems are designed to address a broad range of issues relating to your drinking water like taste, odor, chlorine and most importantly, items of health concern that are paramount to your family’s health and wellbeing.

The Hydro Guard™ U4000 incorporates four multistage water filtration cartridges designed to provide you with 1,200 gallons of premium quality drinking water!

The Hydro Guard™ U4000 also incorporates throughout the solid carbon filter Microban® technology. Microban® antimicrobial technology inhibits the growth of bacteria that can cause odors and fouling of the filter surface, so your filter keeps working at peak performance. On an unprotected surface, bacteria can double in number every 20 minutes causing premature fouling of the water filter. Microban® antimicrobial product protection works continuously to inhibit the growth of bacteria that can adversely affect filter performance.

Microban® Carbon Block

CARTRIDGE 1 – HDG-SED5

The HDG-SED5 prefilter is a specially manufactured high performance sediment filter designed to give you high dirt holding capacity, reduce sediment and rust particles and extend the life of additional filters. Its micro-fine web design traps particles and helps keep other filters in the filtration system working at optimal performance.

CARTRIDGE 2 – HDG-MCB

Stage 1 –

Hydro Guard’s radial flow filtration allows water to enter the cartridge through the radius of the filter. This allows the outer layer to trap and retain additional particulate matter. The FDA CFR 21 compliant fine web polypropylene fibers do not impart color, odor or chemicals into the water and are an ideal pre-filtration media.

Stage 2 –

Water passes through the NSF Certified Coconut Shell Solid Carbon Block filter to reduce items of health concern. The 0.5 micron carbon block pores micro-strains the water to reduce (through mechanical filtration) substances in your water that are 0.5 micron in size or larger. The 0.5 micron pores also aid to increase the systems adsorptive properties. This allows water to have a longer contact time with the carbon wall and permits the efficient reduction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s – Organic Chemicals), PCB, Pesticides, Herbcides, Chloroform and other chlorination by-products.

CARTRIDGE 3 – HDG-SIL

The HexoSoft Media Filter cartridge is designed to provide crystal clear drinking water and aids in the prevention of limescale growth at the faucet. It also aids to improve taste and odor in your drinking water which results in better tasting, better brewed coffee; better tasting tea; and better tasting mixed beverages.

CARTRIDGE 4 – HDG-CB5P

The final stage is the exclusive Hydro Guard™ HDG-CB5P filter which has been specially designed with premium grade Coconut shell carbon as a final Polishing cartridge to improve taste and render a pleasant bottled water like taste to your drinking water.

Ultrafiltration System

CARTRIDGE 1 – HDG-SED5

The carbon blocks chemisorptive process also allows it to effectively reduces Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s – Organic Chemicals), PCB’s, Certain Heavy metals such as Lead, Pesticides, Herbicides, Chloroform and other chlorination by-products.

Step 3 –

In the final filtration process water passes through an array of sophisticated 0.01 – 0.1u Ultra Filtration (UF) hollow fibers for the effective removal of Bacteria, Viruses and Cysts. Suspended particles and materials of high molecular weight are unable to pass through the 0.01- 0.1 micron UF ultrafiltration membrane, allowing only fresh clean water and dissolved minerals to pass through.

In this stage water passes through the Hydro Guard™ HexoSoft media Filter which is designed to provide crystal clear drinking water and aid in the prevention of limescale growth at the faucet. This aids to improve taste and odor in your drinking water which results in better tasting, better brewed coffee; better tasting tea; and better tasting mixed beverages.

The 0.5 micron carbon block pores micro-strains the water and through the carbons Chemisorptive process it effectively reduces Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s – Organic Chemicals), PCB, Pesticides, Herbicides, Chloroform and other chlorination by-products.

The final stage is the exclusive Hydro Guard HDG-ALK cartridge which has been exclusively designed to produce perfectly pH balanced water. By way of its special media, the HDG-ALK increases the antioxidant level (negative ORP) in your water to aid in neutralizing free radicals end DNA damage.

End Of Life Indicator (ELI)

The Hydro Guard” End of Life Indicator (ELI) is another way Hydro Guard™ helps you safeguard your drinking water. The ELl measures time and informs you when it’s time to change your filter. This is an added convenience which takes away the guess work and helps ensure your drinking water system is working at optimal performance. Two LED lights update you on the systems operation. The YELLOW LED indicates less than 10% of filter capacity remains (it’s time to order a replacement cartridge), and the RED LED indicates the filter capacity has been reached, and it’s time to install new cartridge.
